This is not a tour — it is a novel. At the start of Tverskoy Boulevard you will be met by the guide Maria in the guise of Bulgakov's Margarita, who will lead you through the pages of “The Master and Margarita”: to where the Master first saw Margarita, where the heroine lived and where the manuscript of the novel was kept after Bulgakov's death. Along the way we will figure out why apartment No. 50 became Unpleasant and why Berlioz's head was so badly needed. The route ends at the Unpleasant Apartment museum on Bolshaya Sadovaya — entrance tickets and the museum tour are already included.

Not necessarily — Maria retells the key episodes right on the route and explains why each address matters. If you already know the novel, it will be even more interesting.

We start at 18:25 at the beginning of Tverskoy Boulevard (Pushkinskaya metro, exit 10, or Tverskaya, exit 9) and finish at 21:00 at 10 Bolshaya Sadovaya near Mayakovskaya metro. Please don't be late: after 18:30 the guide does not answer calls.
